Agatha Road is Central New York's only full service Country Music Wedding Band! When the country boys and the girls get together to throw a party, Agatha Road knows how to put the boots on the floor. This band has the grit and musicians to keep the party going and the class and professionalism to satisisfy our most distinguished and discerning clientele.

Band Members

Derek Powers
Bass and vocals for Agatha Road. Derek has been a mainstay in the Syracuse music scene for many years playing with numerous groups including the Knight Riders. When not on stage Derek coaches collegiate cross country.

Emmett VanSlyke

Lead Guitarist extrorinaire. Emmett is a producer, composer and educator with a classical guitar background whose chops range from modern country to jazz to contemporary rock and pop.

Kristin Turo
Guitarist and Vocalist for Agatha Road, Kristin can also be found playing with "Drift Water" when she is not writing and performing her original solo music.

Mike Dardaris
Drums. The classically trained percussionist is the founder of Agatha Road and The CNY Wedding Music Collective. Mike can also be seen playing with "Ophelia's Book" and "Alter Ego".

Nathan Mansfield

Banjo and Dobro player for Agatha Road. If it has strings and a fret board Nathan can play it. His talents reach far into the depths of country music and his versatility can be witnessed if you were to catch him playing leads with local country favorite, "Driftwater".
